Audio tours
Audio tours are included in your ticket price. You can of course choose to explore at your own pace, and written tours are also available. Ticket bookings are made with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council.
Explore our rich history
Discover the stories of the kings, archbishops and tyrants who made over 950 years of history. The audio tour lasts around an hour and takes you on an interactive journey through time. Explore the well-stocked basement and armoury. Take a seat at the guards' table and climb to the top of the tower to look out across Tonbridge town. As you explore you'll hear the sounds of medieval life to bring alive the sights you see.
There is an optional tour of the castle grounds which lasts an additional 30 minutes. The tour is available in English, French, German, Dutch or Spanish.
