Workshops
Our workshops are for children aged five to 12 years and we tailor your day to specific ages or needs. We focus on learning through play so students get an authentic medieval education.
At a typical workshop there will be the opportunity to:
- play medieval games
- solve puzzles
- dress up in medieval costumes
- try medieval crafts including brass rubbing
- chainmail making
- building castle defences such as bridges and Norman arches
Workshops are for 20 students or less. If your group is larger than 20, we will divide them into smaller groups. While one group takes part in the workshop, the other group will be enjoying a guided tour. Groups then swap so students get to enjoy both activities.
Price includes teacher notes and activity sheet. We will email these when we confirm your booking.
