Christmas at the castle is a festive event like no other. Taking place in the grounds of Tonbridge Castle, Kent, this event brings a winter spectacle to life with a range of experiences, including a Christmas Market, an Alpine Bar, and an Illumination light trail.

Open from the 26th of November until the end of December, this family-friendly event is one not to miss. From festive treats to unique light experiences, this is one not to miss!

Illuminate Tonbridge Castle

Experience the magic of winter with our family-friendly Winter Light Trail. Walk through a dazzling display of illuminations, with sparkling lights transforming the winter landscape into a wonderland of colour and sparkle. Perfect for all ages, our Winter Light Trail is a winter experience not to be missed. Bring the whole family for an unforgettable evening of winter magic. Expect to spend between 45 - 60 minutes exploring the light trail around the castle grounds.

Tonbridge Christmas Market

The Tonbridge Christmas Market is a festive event that brings the local community together. This year, we have partnered with The TN card to create something special for locals and visitors alike.

With over 30 traders each day, there is something for everyone. Get your holiday shopping done and support local businesses while you’re at it. Tonbridge Christmas Market is open every day from the 26th November until the 23rd December. Come along to discover different stalls and experience the festive cheer.

The Alpine Bar 

The Alpine Bar is the perfect place for a night out with friends or family. Our festive atmosphere & live entertainment sets us apart from others at Christmas. We have a range of hot and cold drinks, and a food court serving a range of warm and cold food. Enjoy a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate and relax with friends or family. Open from 4pm - 11pm every day, come and join us for a great night out.
